‘Looking for Leh in Google Maps, in the 3D mode, was enough for me to know that this was going the be my next photography tour destination. For me, it was a unique destination, which deserved to be explored… something like a really promising photo adventure. It had all that I like from a trip: extreme sceneries, which go from the ocher color from its cold deserts to the green from the lands, or the blues from its amazing mountain lakes. Always honored with spectacular skies, full of clouds that are dyed an amazing palette of colors both by sunrise and sunset; portraits of authentic local people, who still preserve their own idiosyncrasies, something so complicated to find in today’s globalized world; very old Buddhist monasteries (called Gompas) that brings you the opportunity to enjoy its ceremonies live, etc… To be honest, the destination was even above my expectations.
The trip was very well organized by the Dream Photo Expeditions team. I was traveling alone, not knowing anyone else previously, and the group was great. We always counted with help for our photography when we needed it. Regarding the accommodations and restaurants, those chosen for the trip were really nice, always taking into account that we were in a really remote area. I do recommend it 100%!’
