This Alaska Photo Tour is one of our most scenic and spectacular trips. The wilderness, freedom, stunning landscapes and wildlife are a few things that come to mind when you think of Alaska. This is a place to enjoy Nature at its best.
Those are the feelings we want to share with you during our trip. We will be visiting some of the most famous places in Alaska while always searching for the best possible scenes to photograph.
During this time, at the end of summer and beginning of autumn, we may even have the chance to enjoy some of the first beautiful autumn colors in places like Denali National Park where we’ll get to witness the amazing red tones of the tundra.
We will be visiting some of the most amazing National Parks in Alaska and the U.S. such as Denali, Kenai Fjords and Wrangell St. Elias Parks. In these parks, we will have countless photo opportunities, so we will make the best of our time there.
Among the many spectacular locations that we will be photographing, we will find glaciers, waterfalls, fjords, lakes, forests, stunning peaks, volcanoes and mountain ranges. An Alaska Photo Tour like ours is a wonderful opportunity for landscape and nature photography lovers due to the numerous impressive locations we will be visiting during our time there.
Alaska is also world famous for its wildlife. During this trip, we will probably spot animals like moose, black and grizzly bears, caribous, mountain goats, dall sheep and more. We will try to spot some of these animals and always be ready to photograph them. We may also take a boat cruise to see some spectacular glaciers where there are good chances to see orcas, sea otters, puffins and the majestic bald eagle, one of the most spectacular and photogenic birds on Earth.
On most of the days of this Alaska photo tour, we will wake up early to capture the beautiful colors during sunrise so we can get the best possible images. We will also stay out late until night has come so we can enjoy the wonderful lights and colors of the wonderful sunsets of Alaska.
If we are lucky enough, we might even have the chance to see and photograph the magical Northern Lights. Although it’s not likely during this period, they are sometimes seen at this time of the year especially in places like Denali National Park. We’ll be studying the aurora borealis and weather forecasts each day to see if there are opportunities we can photograph them.
If you love landscape and nature photography, this will be an unforgettable trip for you. We will be constantly searching for great photo opportunities so you will come back with thousands of images on your memory cards!
