Join us for the spectacular Lofoten Islands Photo Tour next February! Lofoten Islands, in Norway, are located above the Arctic Circle and are full of wonderful natural sceneries. Here you can find mountains, beaches, fjords and more. All of them make Lofoten one of the most amazing destinations for landscape photography lovers.
During this 8 day long tour we will stay in old fishermen cabins. These cabins have been remodeled so we will enjoy all the conveniences of modern amenities in our accommodations. Furthermore, they are also located in traditional villages which will have amazing views to photograph right outside of our cabins.
At the same time, we won’t have to drive too much to get to the most spectacular locations on the islands. We have carefully planned all our photo sessions at each location so we’ll get the best magical soft winter light of the year.
At this time of the year, the sun doesn’t get too high so the light will be wonderful for all types of landscape photography.
All you have to do is be ready to capture those incredible images you’ve been dreaming of. We will do our best to get you to the most incredible locations at the right moments.
We will be also trying to capture one of the most beautiful natural phenomenons: the Northern Lights or the aurora borealis. We will be constantly checking the forecasts in search of the ideal conditions to observe and photograph them. We will be ready each night to photograph these magical lights in case we are lucky.
From our accommodations we will be driving around the islands photographing their most scenic locations. We will be taking pictures in picturesque villages such as Reine or Hamnoy.
Apart from those villages, we will be focusing on the best locations from a photographic point of view. We will be visiting places such as Vareid, Fredvang, Skelfjorde, Sorvagen, Uttakleiv, Haukland, Klavilka and Skagsanden beaches.
All these locations will bring us countless photo opportunities. This Lofoten photo tour is suitable for all photography levels from amateur to professional. Although this is a photo tour instead of a workshop, we will be happy to answer any technical or creative questions for those participants who need it. We will also be giving a lot of tips on creative composition, help using filters, etc. That way, you will be able to get back home with a collection of fantastic images.
To sum up, we are offering you a week of great experiences and spectacular photography, truly a trip that you will remember for the rest of your life.
Join us on this Lofoten photo tour and enjoy landscape photography in one of the most impressive areas on Earth.
